SnapShots™ (formerly Snap Preview Anywhere™) provides free link-activated preview images for websites worldwide! What does that mean to you? That you can provide your visitors with a pop-up window of what a link will look like, without them having to ever leave your site. If you have JavaScript enabled and haven't turned off the service, you'll see an icon just after the "via" in the paragraph above. To see what you can do with Snap Preview Anywhere™, hover your cursor over the icon and you'll get a pop-up window displaying what the page will look like, if you should choose to follow the link. That's what it does!
MT-SPA allows you to easily add this Snap Preview Anywhere™ service to your Movable Type-powered site. Simply sign up for a key at Snap.com, install the plugin, configure the options through the familiar plugin interface, and then add a single template tag to each template where you'd like to make use of the service (or to a shared header if you use one). Finally, rebuild your pages and you're done.
Perhaps best of all, the MT-SPA plugin allows you to change the settings that you use on your site from within the Movable Type interface, without ever having to revisit your customization page or mess with the details of the code to get it to work. If you ever want to change the settings, you can do so from the Movable Type settings screen - for each individual blog - and then rebuild and the changes will be reflected immediately.
